I have a spreadsheet sent by a client as .xlsx and saved by me as .ods.
When I try to sort the rows on one tab I am prevented from doing so by this
error message: "Ranges containing merged cells can only be sorted without
formats."
Tom/NoOp:
I just discovered that I see the above error when I try to sort only rows
2->end. If I highlight _all_ cells, including the header row (1), it works.
So I moved the header row from the bottom to the top and the rest is sorted.
Thanks,
Rich
