Hi Neil,

Thanks very much for your help on this.

You're welcome!

I've taken a quick look at the bugzilla history of similar bugs and there
does seem to be a number of unresolved reports on pre-3.4.4 versions, from
which a theme appears to emerge of modifications or deletions of DEFAULT key
assignments being non-persistent, as is my experience with 3.4.4.

Ah, just tested with 3.4.5. rc2.
And indeed: the deletion is not persistent there!

I downloaded the 3.5 beta, opened Writer, deleted the default C and V key
assignments on Ctrl+Alt and Ctrl+Alt+Shft respectively (in 3.4.4 there is
also the F key assignment on Ctrl+Alt under LibreOffice - very persistent!)
and, sure enough, as you say, the deletions stick!

I've copied Pedro into this - hi Pedro, does this mean that this bug has now
been fixed and should not affect stable 3.5 releases?

Looks promising.
Might even be worth to ask the devs if it is known where the bug is fixed, so that it might be included in 3.4.6 ...

Regards,
