Does anyone know how to turn on "Show Hidden Files/Folders"? The LO Save
or Save As does not appear to have the option to enable it. There used
to be a way in the Options Dialogue under General to select System Wide
Dialogues which in the past worked for this problem, but I can't seem to
find that anymore.
I have LO ver. 3.4.4 on Fedora 16

Hidden Files'.
It's not there. I can remember it being there in older versions, but for
some reason not this one. I have gone through each section under
options, thinking that maybe I didn't remember it right, even went to
tools->customize, and of course it wasn't there. I am using the version
as available on the Fedora 16 repo, which is what I've always done once
LO replaced OOo on Fedora, but that shouldn't matter.
Ah. It's a distro issue. I just brought up Linux Mint 12 LO 3.4.4 and
the option is missing there as well. Fired up Ubuntu 11.04 (Natty) and
the option is there with LO 3.3.4 (distro version). I reckon that the
distro packagers are trying to dumb down everything... including LO.
File an LO bug in both Fedora and LO.
Note: installing directly from LO (3.3.4 or 3.4.x) has the option, so
it's definately a distro packaging issue.
[TAG] LibreOffice linux distribution versions missing
'Tools|Options|General|Open/Save dialogs' option.
