I am running LibreOffice on a Mac running OS X 10.7.
LibreOffice does open. It's just that the "Restore Windows" pop-up won't
go away.

I had the exact same problem on my mac. This fix is a hack and slash
approach, but it fixed the problem for me:

Open Terminal and type

cd /Users/[username]/Library/Saved Application
State/org.libreoffice.script.savedState
echo "" >> restorecount.txt

Hope this works,
Zack
