working
Hi :)
Is the driver
MSVCR90.dll
generic or do they need to find one specific to their particular
edition/version/release of Windows? If it's generic and if you have one
easily available could you email me a copy off-list?
Regards from
Tom :)
I believe it's generic.
I usually download dlls from: http://www.dll-files.com/dllindex/dll-files.shtml?msvcr90
Supposing the error message refers to the dll version (it should be 9.0.30729.4940 but better see
dll properties right-clicking) the dll on this site is older; if that user can find a newer version
it's better, but anyway I would try replace it all the same, doing a backup of the version on the
pc before proceeding; finally register it, through regsvr32, though I now see there's an app for
win7 useful for registering dlls(
http://www.addictivetips.com/windows-tips/registerun-register-dlls-with-regsvrhelper-in-windows/ ).
bye! :)
