Hello:
I've been unable to install spell checkers with LibreOffice under
Windows 7.
Tools -> Options -> Language Settings -> Writing Aids" shows NO
available language modules. "Tools -> Extension Manager" produced a list of
43 available extensions. I select one and click Add. This opens a window
indicating it wants a file with extension .oxt, .uno.pkg, or .zip, and I
can't find any such that seems to fit.
The Extension Manager shows the *installed/(added)* extensions.
You don't need to install the extensions once again.
Suggestions? This is under Windows 7 with LibreOffice 3.4.2 and 3.4.3.
I both cases, I installed the companion
LibO_3.4.2_Win_x86_helppack_en-US.exe /
LibO_3.4.3_Win_x86_helppack_en-US.exe. ("Control Panel -> Programs and
Features" shows both LibreOffice 3.4 and LibreOffice 3.4 Help Pack
(English).
A first workaround:
spell checking not working in LBO 3.4.3
