I'm transitioning from OO.o to LO. I've imported client .xls files, worked
with them as .ods and had no problems. However, I discovered that opening a
new spreadsheet displays the rows as thin slits and the columns as almost
equally small spaces. The default font is 10pt, but the text entered is
about 1 pt in size.
Looking in Tools -> Options I see nothing to set the default cell size in
a new spreadsheet.
Selecting the whole sheet (ctrl-a) and trying to format rows to optimal
height and columns to optimal width does nothing.
I've not seen a sheet open like this with any other spreadsheet
application, and I cannot see how to change the default to a usable size.
Your advice appreciated.
