I have a similar problem.

On my Ubuntu 11.04 is installed LibreOffice 3.4.2 from LibreOffice download page.

The US-English dictionary works fine.
The Danish dictionary is installed (there is a check mark next to the language in the list of languages and I can see the extension in the extension manager). But the Danish doesn't work (all words are marked with red waves).

On my Windows box it works fine.

Cheers,
Leif Lodahl
