Quickstarter starts when the operating system initiates when
the computer is swiched on or after the OS reset.
It loads and keeps some LO componetnts in the memory to be prepared
when you need to open some LO document.
This should make the document opening a bit quicker.
You can disable/enable the Quickstarter in
Menu->Tools->LibreOffice->Memory
ticking on/off the last line "Load Quickstarter during system start-up".
When enabled and started you can see its icon among other taskbar icons
in the right bottom corner - if the position of the taskbar is on the
screen bottom edge :)
