Hi,
This is a quick note to let people know that the 'Alternative Find &
Replace for Writer' throws intermittent errors when working with latest
LO versions.
Here is the bug report...
http://openoffice.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=116928
For me it only occurs when using the 'batch' mode, but this is the thing
I use the most.
Is anyone in LO working on this extension? If not it might be worth
noting on the wiki that some errors may occur.
http://libreplanet.org/wiki/Group:OpenOfficeExtensions/List
I presume, as LO matures and Java changes that most of these add-ons
will throw more and more errors unless maintained. Maybe we should have
a pole asking users what they think should be maintained or
functionality/code assimilated into the core.
Personally, I am replacing the 'batch' option of the 'Alternative Find &
Replace for Writer' by creating a macro to call the normal
search-replace dialog in LO (which also uses regular expressions).
