Hello Dennis. Thanks for your reply. I am using LO V3.3.3 and Windows Vista
32 bit.
I have tried the following options with some success when I make changes to
the spreadsheet.
1. Save as xlsx (Office 2007). The frozen rows do not save.
2. Save as xls (Office XP). The frozen rows save OK.
3. Save as scx. The frozen rows save OK.
4. Save as ods. The frozen rows save OK.
Which saving option would recommend for spreadsheets as I sometimes email
spreadsheets to others who use Microsoft Office 2007?
I would save the spreadsheet as ods, since this is the native format of LibO / OOo. MS Office
should be able to open those files as well, since MS claims to have support for the OpenDocument
File format. But to be on the save side, you can save your files again as xls before sending them
to the other people.
