Then if you can cope without hyper-links working for a while the 3.4.1 is due to 
be released fairly soon

Hmmm, actually i would wait until the 3.4.1 as apparently there are a huge pile 
of bugs that are fixed in the 3.4.1.  Quite possibly including this one.  Please 
don't post the bug-report until after you have tried the 3.4.1 (after that has 
been properly released)(sorry).  


If you can't wait then please go back to the 3.3.x branch as it is the stable 
branch and 3.4.x is testing/development branch.

How did insert the hyperlinks? I use the following: INSERT >> HYPERLINK
and fill out the appropriate boxes on the form. It seems to work fine
for me.
