I tried this with LibreOffice Calc 3.4.0 (actually 3.4.0rc2) in Windows Vista (in a Virtual PC VM 
on Windows 7) and links, even e-mail addresses, worked fine.  So this doesn't appear to be a 
general problem.

My spreadsheet had e-mail addresses typed directly into cells and recognized as links.  For 
Hypertext links, I used the Hyperlink button to make cell contents with a specific Web hyperlink 
(target) and separate text to show in the cell.

I have downloaded the new 3.4 Final version of the new LibreOffice.
I'm using Ubuntu 11.04 (64-bit), everything runs, have the PPA in the
repositories.

The only problem I have is that hyperlinks on a Calc sheet are not working
anymore.

I can click on them, but FireFox does not open, when I go back to the
previous version of LibreOffice 3.3.*, I have no problems and the links open
fine in FireFox.

So there is something wrong with the 3.4 Final version.

Hope you can solve this problem. :)

I really like the new LibreOffice 3.4!
