Hi :) There is a currency format but by default it would take 123 as $123.00. When i worked in an Accountancy Practice we would automatically type the . when dealing with such small amounts for 'working papers' and things. Regards from Tom :) ________________________________ From: jalcradus <jalcradus@gmail.com> To: users@libreoffice.org Sent: Mon, 30 May, 2011 17:13:08 Subject: [libreoffice-users] Dollars & Cents in Spreadsheet Was wondering if there's a way to get a "Dollars & Cents" format when entering numbers in the spreadsheet. In other words if you enter "1-2-3" in a cell, the result would be formatted to 1.23 (one dollar and twenty-three cents). This is useful for accountants and others who regularly enter financial data involving currency. In MS Excel there is a checkbox for this in the options menu. Is there any way to get this type of format in Libre Office?
