Hi, under Ubuntu 10.10 (but not under Windows or Mac) the problem comes
with the version of Java : I replaced the 1.6.0.24 with the 1.6.0.21
Java version and the lag disappeared. So, I suggest to you to try to
"downgrade" the version of Java instead of desactivate it.
