did not work as described on numerous websites.
All indications suggested that LO would uninstall OO but this did not
happen. I kept getting complains regading unfulfilled dependencies that
did not make sense.
I eventually used synaptic to remove all packages that were labelled as
OpenOffice then tried again. It worked after doing this and was
installed within 15 minutes.
I use Ubuntu 10.04 LTR and had latest OO
That's funny, I was able to add LO without an issue and never did "replace"
OOo, just kind of unseated as the primary suite.
I had some issue with dependancies now that you mention it, but can't recall
exactly how I got around it.
