BTW, if I remember well, last time I have used MS Office, it could open a
.pps and enter in edit mode after.
.pps was intended for automatic play and then close of a prsentation.
.ppt was intended for creating and editing presentations.
It is simple to change a .pps extension to .ppt in order to edit it.
