I think there is probably a problem with LO3.3 as the backed up version
of my spreadsheet works perfectly well in both Oo3.2 and Excel. It is
only when I try to open it in Lo3.3 that I have a problem.
Also when I try to reference a cell from a different file even though I
have both files open and point from one to the other it still gives me
the #REF error.
I cannot reproduce the problem.
Could you pls try to make a simple file or two, that you can make
available for testing, that have the problem at your system?
Or maybe, maybe some setting is involved:
Tools > Options > Load/save > General, section Save > relative to file
system ..
