In two days (this Thursday) will be the Ubuntu Bug Day dedicated to
LibreOffice and OOo.
I'm not sure this is a bug. It seems to be a deliberate omission.
In Ubuntu versions of both Open Office AND Libreoffice, the "add
addressbook data source" IS BROKEN AND HAS BEEN FOR AGES.
A lot of us do NOT USE Evolution, yet the function to add any other
address book sources, especialy Thunderbird Address book data sources
is missing, although this function is present in Windows versions.
Surely this needs to be FIXED ASAP......
I so not know why they are still asking about "Open Office"
[Open Office is not the same as OpenOffice.org] since Ubuntu
used Go-oo fork instead of OOo's web site package and it is being dropped
for the April release of Ubuntu 11.04. Then Ubuntu's repository
may be using only LibreOffice.
And who do we report the bugs to? LO, OOo, or Ubuntu?
