Hi :)

Which operating system?  
Are you using Windows?  If so have you tried defragmenting and all that 
house-cleaning stuff?  A reboot often helps.

If you are using linux or Bsd then perhaps try opening LibreOffice or the 
document/presentation from the command-line and see if that gives some useful 
output.

Please let us know which OS so we can be a bit more verbose.
