I have no trouble with _x86-64 version on my 64-bit quad system [AMD 
Phenom 9650]

I do make sure that I have all of the "lib32" libraries installed.

Also look to see if "libx86-1" or something like that is installed.
libx86-1 is described as "real-mode library.
