[libreoffice-users] Question about beta version/stable releases/updates

Hi,
I am working with the documentation team to create a user guide for
LibreOffice for tech writers. I have a few questions:
1. I realize that LibreOffice is still in beta, but is there a way to
update LibreOffice through the software or are users just supposed to
check the site for a stable release?
2. Is there an address to set up automatic updates on Linux clients
using sources.list?
3. Is there any existing documentation on installing language packs?
