Actually, there are many areas of improvement for LibreOffice marketing,
and the backoffice is definitely one of them. We miss many of the
traditional numbers/statistics, as - for instance - we do not have a
real number for users, as we rely on downloads (not a real measurement).
Maybe, we can have a chat via skype/hangout after Wednesday (as we are
releasing LibreOffice 5.1, and I am fully booked for pre-briefings with
journalists).
I have coordinated LibreOffice marketing so far, and I have also managed
most of the marketing activities (apart from social media and some
online activities). Of course, someone with a marketing background is
always welcome, although marketing of free software needs a cultural
shift from traditional marketing (I have gone through this shift myself
around 2004, when I entered the OpenOffice project with my traditional
marketing background).
