A few technical questions to begin with: what is your plan for these 4.0
specific pages?
Do you plan to integrate them in your CMS (silverstripe)? If so, would
that be fine for you if we provide you with plain HTML/JS/CSS files?
Or do you plan to have a redirection to a place with plain PHP ? (I was
considering for instance that it would be possible to have a
conditionnal, referer|cookie based redirection from www.libreoffice.org
to v4.libreoffice.org )
if Erich, who is much more of an Silverstripe expert than I am :) can
have a look, that'd be appreciated.
Should you need something else, like a static webspace with PHP, and
some mod_rewrite redirection magic, let me know, and I am happy to help.
I don't want to reopen the Silverstripe vs. Drupal vs. any other CMS
discussion at the moment, it has too many dependencies, and is something
we definitely should not decide before the 4.0 run. So, our choices are
either using Silverstripe or something independent, self-written for 4.0.
