Hi all,

A few technical questions to begin with: what is your plan for these 4.0 specific pages? Do you plan to integrate them in your CMS (silverstripe)? If so, would that be fine for you if we provide you with plain HTML/JS/CSS files? Or do you plan to have a redirection to a place with plain PHP ? (I was considering for instance that it would be possible to have a conditionnal, referer|cookie based redirection from www.libreoffice.org to v4.libreoffice.org )

Thanks,
Camille

Could you please give us more detail about the technical

Hello all,

First I'd like to introduce to the list Camille Moulin and Jonathan Le
Lous, two long time supporters of LibreOffice. They work for a french
open source IT company and they are offering their resources for a (for
now) partial redesign of the website.

As the 4.0 release is approaching fast, yesterday during the marketing
we decided that instead of a major redesign we would work on three
pages:
       * A new, temporary front page for the 4.0 release
       * A landing page, which lists (in a nice and visually appealing
way) the 5 or 10 best features, describes LibreOffice links to
the release notes, download page, and main community entry
         points
       * if possible a redesign or improvement for the download page.
Camille, Jonathan, please feel free to share and discuss here.

Best regards,
