* Topic #3 : Preparation of the 4.0 release: The Buzz
1. Italo Vignoli will soon send out a detailed plan for the PR to the
various parties involved
2. Marc Paré has expressed his concern that while he had been looking
for interviews with developers he had received no answer from them.
Charles-H. Schulz will insist and make sure we get several of these
before the release.
Maybe, you could also interview some l10n team members. This turn of
translation for 4.0 has been a huge effort for several of them. Through
this interview, this is possible to highlight also new features that
needs special attention like new financial functions or the new
conditional formatting manager and its options under Calc. I'm sure
they
will be happy to talk about this hard and specialized work.
* Topic #4 : Outstanding action items
Fridolin believes he has to know more about the general organization
of
the project and the community before drafting the "community
newsletter". There is thus an acute interest in mapping out the
community's team and general organization. Sophie Gautier has a
mapping
that's missing details but that can server as a base. In any case it
is
crucials for members of the marketing team to know how the project is
organized and how our workflows run.
I need to dig in my archives to find it, it's a freemind map that needs
to be completed and that won't be before middle of next week. However,
I'm available to answer any questions you may have.
Kind regards
Sophie
