This is mostly for Italo but also may interest the rest of the group.
Italo: If you are speaking at a non-technical conference, you may want
to give the audience a quick show as to how implement the use of
personas. As an option that has no real "functionality" value to the
suite, as strange as it may seem, this will be a huge hit with kids
using our suite! I suspect that it will make the difference between the
choice of using MSO or LibreOffice. Kids are usually not really
interested at first of the functionality of an office suite, but mostly
how they can make it look cool. The use of personas, for a young person,
drips immensely of coolness!
I myself, have put on a persona of my choice and like it a lot. I could
not imagine going back to the default LibreOffice look. The only
critical comment that I have is that I would like the option to be a
little more streamlined for use, but I'll probably submit a feature
request for this on the bugzilla.
BTW ... people, you should be working with the v.4.0 suite to appreciate
all of the new features, there are many! You may want to
download/install v.4.0 and help out testing out the rc (release
candidate) versions as the QA (Quality Assurance) team needs to hear of
any problems that you may encounter. If you find any bugs, let us know
and we will show you how to file them or to look in the list of current
bugs to see if it has already been submitted.
Cheers,
Marc
