Hello,
we have a request from a supporter, who wants to use the LibreOffice
logo on his invoices, to show his appreciation.
While I really like people strengthening our brand, I'm a bit sceptical,
because I'd like to avoid confusion - he's no official partner and does
not invoice on our behalf.
Any objections we grant him the use, given our logo for external use
(http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Marketing/Branding#Logo_resources_for_community_members_and_external_use)
is prefixed with something like "created using" or "powered by" or
"proud user of"?
Florian
No problem either.
I cannot imagine that he would put the logo where it could be mistaken
for an official LibreOffice document. It is great to get our brand out
in the wild as long as it doesn't look like an endorsement of any of his
product(s)/services. It should rather look like he endorses us.
I'm all for it!
Marc
