Yes, sorry. Those files are there now. The Writer Guide for 3.4.x should be done within a few days. We are not attempting to do 3.4.x versions of the other books (can't keep up). We may not get many done for 3.5.x before 3.6 is out (can't keep up). In fact, we're not even trying to have a full set of guides for each version (can't keep up). There is a pattern here! ;-) --Jean On Sat, Mar 31, 2012 at 07:31, webmaster-Kracked_P_P <webmaster@krackedpress.com> wrote:
Well when I tried to download the file with the "proper" GS34 in it, Wiki stated there was no such file. So it would be nice to download the Keyboard Shortcut chapter[s] for 3.4.x.... That way it would be complete. I already have the "full book" listed on my testing portal for 3.5.x. I hope the other "guides" will be ready when I get the 3.5.2 version, or maybe 3.5.3, done and publish the ISO file for that DVD. I will be doing one for 3.4.6 soon as well, since I somehow did not get the announcement that it was available for download. On 03/30/2012 04:35 PM, Jean Weber wrote:That's a typo on the wiki page. I'll fix that, or Tom can. Thanks for spotting it. --Jean On 30/03/2012, at 23:49, webmaster-Kracked_P_P<webmaster@krackedpress.com> wrote:Well there is an error there. Instead of 0115GS34-KeyboardShortcuts.odt [.pdf link as well] The 3.4.x branch version is the same link for the 3.3.x branch: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/images/0/00/0115GS3-KeyboardShortcuts.odt http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/images/f/fd/0115GS3-KeyboardShortcuts.pdf <http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/images/0/00/0115GS3-KeyboardShortcuts.odt>This is not the same for any other file listed for the 3.4.x branch. They all are "GS34" instead of "GS3". It appears that there has been no editing of the file to make it over for 3.4.x. Please let us know of anything before she puts it up on the official LibreOffice website. Obviously the Docs Team does screenshots using a non-default theme but one that is high-contrast (for accessibility and for clearer printing) and looks the same on the various different platforms. Good luck and regards from Tom :) On Fri, 30/3/12, Jean Weber<hidden> wrote: From: Jean Weber<hidden> Subject: [libreoffice-documentation] Re: Getting Started 3.4 full book published To: Documentation@global.libreoffice.org Date: Friday, 30 March, 2012, 11:59 On Fri, Mar 30, 2012 at 20:19, Jean Weber<hidden> wrote:I've put the full compiled Getting Started with LibreOffice 3.4 book on the wiki (ODT and PDF) and the ODFAuthors website (ODT only at this point). I recommend using the PDF from the wiki, https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Documentation/Publications JeanI'll work on the printed version soon, and also write a post for the Docs Team's blog. Please feel free to pass the word along to Marketing and others, if I don't get to it. Time for a break!
