I think the general idea is good, but the image could use some 
improvement. ;-) I'm no graphics designer myself, but maybe that's 
something to ask on the design mailing list?

Spreading the word about our software and about our community by people 
having badges on their websites and blogs sounds like a real good idea 
to me!
