If the page translated correctly, it appears that the ministerial
group is waiting for CD/DVDs in .iso format
for downloading. This may indicate an easy to find and download CD/DVD
.iso may also be an
important tool for distribution among other governmental entities and
businesses.
More Great news for LibO!

Actually, I think what the article says is that the group was originally
called MiMOOo but with the arrival of LibreOffice on the scene, it has
now renamed itself to MIMO which is now a name that does not identifies
itself to any opensource office suite. The MIMO is recommending that the
different French Ministries participating in the MIMO group adopt
LibreOffice. The MIMO group will produce its own installation DVD for
LibreOffice. The disk will allow a personalized installation and will
contain elements for silent installation. There will also be a USB
version. The DVD and USB will be offered for Windows only and not for
Linux. There will be added components such as dictionaries, image
galleries, models, fonts as well as documentation for Writer, Calc,
Impress and Draw. The documentation will be completely authored by the
MIMO group. The new LibreOffice MIMO suite will be available in Autumn
2011 as a downloadable DVD.
So, they will be producing their own DVD and their own documentation and
for Windows boxes only.
Cheers
Marc
