Hi,
Excellent articles and links, the Google Toolbar has helped me in
translating them.
The second and third articles demonstrate the strength of the free community to
organize themselves and seek solutions collectively.
Said evidence is the rapid release of release candidate LibO, after the fork
with OO.

Yes, excellent links. Thanks :)
In Firefox you can install various different machine translator add-ons. I
think i used "IM translate" which gave me an entire tool-bar but allowed me
to
translate (badly) from hundreds of different languages into hundreds of
others.
They even had a few "joke" languages of which my favourite was "skinhead"
lol.
Machine translators are always really bad but they can be a good starting
point
for a person that does understand the language to proof-read and make some
sense
of. A neat way of getting translations done when 2 people don't have any
language in common but are prepared to work at understanding each other but
be
prepared for a lot of misunderstandings!
I think it would be good to also collect links of any negative press. We
(well,
David) took about 5minutes to solve something that one bad reviewer ranted
on
about for about half a review.
Regards from
Tom :)

Hi,
Just to keep you updated about the press cover in the Scandimavian
region(Headlines translated). Not one single article is sceptical or
negative. The overall signal is that LibreOffice is about to take over
from OOo.

Thanks for these links Leif. Great articles!
For those of you who cannot read in these langauges, you can use Google
Translate to translate the pages. Although the translations are at times
a little confusing, you can get the general meaning of the articles and
comments. You may be also surprised that sometimes the translation is
not that bad.
Method:
* go to Google Translate here: http://translate.google.com/#
* choose the source language of the article and the English output
* put the website url into the box
* Google Translate will give you a link to the translated page/site
Cheers
Marc
