Back when Vegar was chosen, the intersection of FLOSS license, and 
pan-unicode fonts was aesthetically displeasing for every writing
system in use.


I forgot this: what is the point in keeping something aesthetically pleasing, but restricted to 
'Western' Latin languages only ? (even then: year 2010 is somewhat more recent than Stone Age)
