Hi,

Do we really need to touch the version number for each release? Now we
have libreoffice4.0-freedesktop-menus-4.0.0-103.noarch.rpm. The
sentence in readme says
"libreoffice3.3-freedesktop-menus-3.3.1.noarch.rpm (or similar)". For
me the new name is similar enough to the old one.

Having 3.3 in readme suggests that we do not update readme very often.
This is true, and this may be a problem. But changing only the version
numbers would not help IMHO.

I do agreed that changing numbers at each version wouldn´t be best process.

Maybe we could use an alias like
"libreofficeX.Y-freedesktop-menus-X.Y.Z.noarch.rpm (where XYZ is the
version release)

Regards

The desktop-integration directory also contains a package named
libreoffice3.3-freedesktop-menus-3.3.1.noarch.rpm (or similar). This is a
package for all Linux distributions that support the Freedesktop.org
specifications/recommendations (<a href="

desktop.org">http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Freedesktop.org</a>), and is
provided for installation on other Linux distributions not covered in the
aforementioned instructions.
