Commit rules for libreoffice-3-4 branch after May 9, 2011:

+ do not modify strings or UI

It is very simple. This person must be told that string freeze was on
May 2 and his fix from May 5 will be deleted and excluded from LO34.

It's not that easy, Petr has just extended to string freeze deadline
to May 9. :) It's a rubber deadline, it seems. :)

No matter that he comes from Novell. Or is Novell now like Sun/Oracle
in the OOo, they can do whatever they please, no matter when the
deadlines and freezes are?

This should really be a no brainer.

What I did not like in the Sun/Oracle era that we were heavily bound
by their rules. TDF does it more relaxed and I fully support it. In
this very case, the translation of string "Find" can be found in the
same PO file multiple times (one for Calc, one for Writer etc.) It is
a no brainer to add "Find" and its translations for the Basic IDE,
too, and it poses no risk at all. Translators do not have to do
anything.

Best regards,
Andras
