Depending on your machine, number of cores, available RAM and disk speed it may take any time between 2 and 6 hours, in bad cases even more, worst case your build starts swapping with too little RAM (8GB advisable, more if you build with debug). For example, 4 cores (8 CPUs), 16GB RAM, SSD and a handful of localizations (which each take extra time to build help and resources) still takes 2-3 hours. Eike -- LibreOffice Calc developer.
