I like that concerns like:
- almost invisible elements
- color clashes
- Icon sizes…
are tackled.
However, I think it is still important to play along the basic visual
rules of the host OS. Firefox, as you [Heiko] mentions, archives a good
compromise there: It always looks like Firefox, but it blends in really
well and will adapt the basic colors of the host OS.

challenged. While we may be able to solve most of the issues the idea is tempting to have a 
unique look and feel with the possibility to customize the default according the system. 
Something like Mozilla does in Firefox with Auralis [2].
