Though the UI suggests this (no option to skip) when I closed that small
window, it continued with other steps and the IDE showed up just fine (I
didn’t try to use it, though).
At least external/lcms2/ExternalProject_lcms2.mk tries to upgrade some
vcxproj file, and that is known to cause 'make' to fail without a useful
error message if VS is not properly registered (after a 30 day trial
period, IIUC).
