Bug 38592 is simple to reproduce and consistently limits the number of times I
can save and reopen an xlsx file without manually fixing all formulas which
include the CEILING function. 
The unconditional adding of ",1" to the end of the function parameter list each
time may be a simple mistake somewhere in either the saving or opening code.
Its annoyance is not related to its simplicity as much as its effective and
consistent limiting of the number of times the file can be modified, closed and
reopened without manual intervention. It was initially reported against 3.3 and
is still present in LibreOffice 4.1.
