gdb - setting breakpoint takes a really long time

Hi

In the vein of asking for GDB improvements, I'm chasing exceptions again:

I ran LO using:
   make debugrun
and then once LO is running, I stopped it using CTRL-C and did:

brcom::sun::star::lang::IllegalArgumentException::IllegalArgumentException

which ended up taking approx 10 mins to complete (on a pretty beefy machine)

Is this normal?

This is on a 64-bit fedora-18 box, gdb says:
   GNU gdb (GDB) Fedora (7.5.1-38.fc18)
