BTW, did anybody look into that berkeleydb removal code, regarding its
ability to migrate from existing user profiles (as berkeleydb files are
used in the user profile to keep track of installed extensions)?
There have been a couple of cases in Apache OpenOffice, where updating 
the user profile does not work and the program crashes on start. All 
cases were solved by using a new user profile. See first item in 
http://www.openoffice.org/development/releases/3.4.1.html#AOO3.4.1ReleaseNotes-KnownIssues
Unfortunately there exists no tool to import single items from an old 
user profile.
