No idea really. It always struck me as odd and I never heard of anyone
actually fixing or implementing anything in them. They were moved to
binfilter ages ago, binfilter/bf_sw/source/filter/excel should be their
base implementation. I doubt anyone would notice their absence.
yeah, but why invest effort in removing them now when the whole
binfilter will be removed for LO 4 anyway?
