I haven't noticed that. I have noticed Cygwin getting itself into such
a state regularly, though.

        Fair enough - I was thinking of locked, un-move-able files that mean
you can't do a 'make clean', apparently un-owned by any running process.
But of course, it's prolly my mistake. Havn't seen that with WinXP yet
though.
