In fact, the above lines are removed by the patch ;-)

The new code is

--- cut ---
+    for dir in `find "$lo_src_dir/$tarname" -mindepth 1 -maxdepth 1
-type d -printf "$tarname/%f\n"` ; do 
+        ln -sf "src/$dir" "$start_dir" 
+    done 
--- cut ---

It creates relative symlinks. I wanted them as well :-)
