I have to say, I'm kind of unenthusiastic about deprecating strlen and memcpy.
I agree fully.
I was under the impression that LO mostly uses its own (too many) string classes anyway, and
usually for strings of UTF-16 (16-bit) elements (for lack of better word), seldom plain C library
char string functions?
