Ho hum; so - clearly the build succeeds for me on i686:
$ uname -a
Linux lenovo-w500 2.6.38-18-desktop #1 SMP PREEMPT 2011-03-20 22:25:37 +0100 i686 i686 i386
GNU/Linux
So we need more detail I think. I also get:
/../../unxlngi6.pro/bin/odkcommon/idl/com/sun/star/awt/grid/XGridDataModel.idl ...
/../../unxlngi6.pro/bin/odkcommon/idl/com/sun/star/awt/grid/XMutableGridDataModel.idl ...
Error: Syntax error in documentation within this text:

/../../unxlngi6.pro/bin/odkcommon/idl/com/sun/star/awt/grid/DefaultGridColumnModel.idl ...
/../../unxlngi6.pro/bin/odkcommon/idl/com/sun/star/awt/grid/XGridColumnListener.idl ...
But the build does not fail here.
So - I guess this is a bogus error.
Please can you edit any parallel processing, multiple CPU things out of
your autogen.lastrun - ie. no icecream, no --with-num-cpus, no
--with-max-jobs - and re-run autogen.sh.
Then run 'make' and it should stop exactly where the (real) error is.
Can you then attach that last piece of log - the last 50 lines or so to
a mail.
HTH,
Michael.
