The dev versions for OOo 3.4 include a patch (see original OOo issue) that
fix this 9 years old problem. Will this patch be included on LibO?
It was included in OpenOffice.org before m101, that is the one which the
LibreOffice sources were recently aligned with; so unless it conflicts
with some specific LibreOffice developments, it should have made its way
into the LibreOffice master branch as a consequence.
