Hi,

I am not subscribed to this list (already have enough mails :-) so
please Cc me in replies.

IIRC, in the current 3.3.2 release, the presenter console does not
allow someone to "reset" the time counter. When you start a
presentation and have the title slide running for a few minutes
before the real presentation starts, the counter already has grown,
and you do not see the actual presentation time, but rather the time
since the first launch.

So, I propose to add a key that the speaker can use to reset the
counter, and start at 00:00, when he begins the talk.

Maybe something for an easy hack?

Without knowing the details of impress or the presenter console
that sounds very doable. I would recommend to:
 - file a bug (as enhancement, with whiteboard status "EasyHack")
 - poke the design team to agree on how the UI change should look like
 - add it to the EasyHack page, although that might need a rework soon
anyway (see my post on discuss@)

Best Regards,

Bjoern
