I must say I've seen, in non-publicly archived Italian mailing lists,
reliable reports about problems with LibreOffice Writer documents
containing tables. So the information is not totally made up. The
"tables" the post refers to should then be read as "Writer tables", I
suppose.

The aforementioned discussions spawned the following bug submissions:
- https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=34565
- https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=664516
all related to Writer tables; the last one leads to (what the user
perceived as) data loss in Writer tables and it was marked as
Critical-Urgent and recently resolved.

   Andrea.

Great. This just goes to show how the LibreOffice devs are listening. Could someone responds to the article? This will, at least let them know that we are taking these statements seriously.

I don't know if Italo has looked into this but I had cc'd him on one of my messages.

Cheers

Marc
