This is the problem, you should have a smen-US.res in there, and you
don't. This is the same problem Norbert reports, rsc should call rsc2
which should have put one in there, but this is apparently failing
silently, but only on MacOSX.

I've tried $ find . -name smen-US.res -ls and the file smen-US.res does not exist in my git/libo 
directory.


Personally I suspect some tmpdir foo.

Sorry, I'm a newbie and not sure what you mean, unless it's that you suspect a temp dir is 
contaminating my build.
